Description of Plant: It is an evergreen tree. It grows up to 12 meters. It has bright green leaves and at the start of the rainy season long buds appear with a rosy-pink corolla at the tip. As the corolla fades the calyx slowly turns deep red.
Where Cultivated: It is native to Zanzibar, Madagascar, Java, and Sri Lanka.

Steam distilled from the dried flower buds of the Clove plant to produce a 100% pure essential oil with absolutely no additives or fillers. Clove Bud essential oil has a warm, spicy scent that smells just like cloves. This is a powerful cleaning agent and can be added to your favorite household cleaning products or blended to create a DIY cleaning product. It supports a healthy immune system, can be used to relieve occasional toothaches on adults, and massaged over aching joints from aging or normal wear and tear. Clove Bud is powerful in any form so we recommend a maximum dilution of 0.5% for topical applications. This wonderful, familiar aroma can be added to diffuser blends to create a scent that brings the holidays indoors.

It blends well with cinnamon cassia, nutmeg, citronella, eucalyptus, grapefruit pink, lemon, orange sweet, peppermint, rosemary, and thyme.

Aromatic - Diffuse using 1-2 drops per 100 ml of water.

Topical - Dilute to a maximum 0.5% in a carrier.

CAUTIONS:
Keep out of reach of children. For external use only. If swallowed, seek urgent care/call poison control. Do not use undiluted. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse with vegetable oil. Do not use if pregnant/breastfeeding or on sensitive/inflamed skin or dermatitis. If allergic reaction occurs, stop use and call a health care practitioner. For prolonged use, consult a health care practitioner.

SPECIFIC CAUTIONS:
Maximum dilution of 0.5% for topical applications. This oil is very potent. Do not use in the bath as it may irritate the skin and mucous membranes. Avoid during pregnancy and on children under 3 years old. Do not use on the skin in concentrations of more than 1%.
