Hot stone therapy is known for its deeply soothing and relaxing effects, a wonderful addition to therapeutic massage. It can be integrated into any holistic modalities, including reflexology, aromatherapy, reiki, as well asesthetic services, such as facials, manicures and pedicures.

Place the basalt stones in hot water for 15 minutes, or until heated. The stones can be used in two ways. They can be placed on top of a towel along the back to heat the chakras of the body, or used directly on the skin during the massage. The heat from the stones helps relax muscles when incorporated with regular massage techniques.
