Ho Wood Essential Oil Organic is a woody fragrant essential oil that has some similarity to the Rosewood Oil. Ho Wood became more popular once it main constituents Linalool was discovered. Ho Wood is one of the most potent sources of naturally occurring linalol found in any steam distilled essential oil. It's main properties analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic, hypertensive, immune stimulant and sedative.

DESCRIPTION:
Ho Wood Essential Oil is extracted using steam distillation of crude Camphor resin

Ho Wood Essential Oil has recently been used as a replacement for Rosewood Essential Oil because of their similar chemical properties. It has many similar applications and is considered both stimulating and relaxing to the mind. Ho Wood is also reported to have anti-depressant, anti-microbial, anti-septic, aphrodisiac, and bactericidal properties. There are also claims that it can play a role as a cellular stimulant, cephalic, and tissue regenerator. Ho Wood is also commonly broken down by its aromatic components for resale.

Ho Wood Oil is steam distilled from the bark and wood of the ho tree. This oil is extremely high in calming linalool and is excellent for promoting a peaceful and relaxing environment. Ho Wood has a woody, floral, and camphorous scent. Its aroma and properties are very similar to Rosewood Oil, which as a threatened species, should be avoided. The camphor content in Ho Wood Oil results in a cooling feeling when used topically.

It blends well with bergamot, basil, cedarwood atlas, chamomile german, chamomile roman, lavender, lemon, rosemary, sandalwood Australian, and ylang ylang.

DIRECTIONS:
Blend Ho Wood with Lavender Oil and diffuse to promote deep relaxation. For an uplifting yet comforting atmosphere, blend Ho Wood Oil with a citrus oil such as Bergamot or Grapefruit. For topical use, dilute with a carrier oil and apply to red, itchy areas.

Aromatic - Diffuse using 2-3 drops per 100 ml of water or use in a personal inhaler.

Topical - Dilute 2-5% in a carrier.

Avoid eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse with vegetable oil. Do not use if pregnant/breastfeeding or on sensitive/inflamed skin or dermatitis.
