This mint family member grows in Australia’s Southern Victoria and parts of New South Wales. It’s a bushy, evergreen shrub that blooms beautiful purplish flowers surrounded by dark green leaves—and it’s in those leaves where all the goodness comes from.
When steam distilled, Balm Mint Bush leaves impart an essential oil that is fresh, uplifting, and minty. Its aroma is comparable to Eucalyptus due to its 1,8-Cineole content. However, you may be able to detect a hint of floral and pine-type notes as well. Not only is Balm Mint Bush rich in 1,8-Cineole, but it also touts significant amounts of piperitone, a-pinene, and linalool, giving it a wide range of therapeutic properties!
It blends well with: basil, cajeput, cardamom, cedarwood , citronella, eucalyptus globulus, frankincense, lavender, lemon, peppermint, rosalina, rosemary, sandalwood australian, spearmint, orange sweet, and tea tree.
DIRECTIONS:
Add Balm Mint Bush oil to a diffuser to create an energizing and uplifting atmosphere. Use in a massage oil for a revitalizing experience.
