DESCRIPTION:
Cinnamon Cassia is steam distilled from the bark of the Chinese Cinnamon tree to create a 100% pure essential oil that has absolutely no additives or fillers. This strong, scented oil is very warm and spicy like its relative cinnamon. That wonderful aroma that is familiar in the spice world, is a favorite to create seasonal blends that bring the Holidays indoors.

This powerful oil can be used in a warming massage blend, but only very little is needed. Using a toothpick, you can dip the end into the orifice reducer and then swirl into your favorite carrier oil for topical use. We recommend a maximum dilution of 0.05% for topical applications. This can cause skin irritation so use on a small patch of skin before applying in larger areas.

Cinnamon is a warming and stimulating essential oil, making it great for helping to improve circulation when used in a massage oil. (Because Cinnamon essential oil can be a skin irritatant be sure to use only 0.05% dilution for massage). It can be used to help with arthritic and rheumatic conditions (due to the warming action and increase in circulation).

Cinnamon is not an essential oil to be taken lightly. It carries with it antiseptic and parasiticidal properties. In an inhalation or as a room spray, Cinnamon essential oil can help disinfect the air or breathing passages. It is an excellent oil to use as a room fragrance, especially at Christmas time and smells great when mixed with Clove essential oil and Bitter Orange essential oil!

Some of Cinnamon essential oil’s chemical components are eugenol, eugenol acetate, cinnamaldehyde, and linalol. Cinnamon essential oil blends well with all citrus essential oils and Nutmeg essential oil.
