Chrysocolla and malachite are both minerals of secondary origin, commonly associated with other secondary copper minerals. Malachite actually contains 57 percent copper, it is the mineral azurite without the attached water molecule. This combination stone, otherwise known as malacholla often forms in masses deep underground where there is precipitation.

While malachite is a stone of transformation and balance, chrysocolla is gentle, soothing and alleviates tension. Together they are used to clear past unwanted influences, promote self fogiveness and patience
