Black Pepper is a vine. Some of the countries that produce Black Pepper essential oil include India, Indonesia, Brazil and Southeast Asia. The berries are steam distilled to create a clear to pale olive colored essential oil.

Black Pepper essential oil is a stimulating, warming oil well used during the cold winter months in massage oils, as well as blended into a carrier oil for an excellent pre or post sport muscle rub. It is helpful when used in a massage oil when you have a cold or flu with aches and pains. It may help with fatigue, lethargy, lack of concentration and impotence. In the respiratory tract, Black Pepper essential oil may help with bronchitis, colds, flu, infections and viruses. In a room spray it may help to destroy airborne infections and for a toothache it may be helpful when blended with Clove essential oil.

Black pepper is warming and spicy. It eases muscular aches and boosts the body's defenses.

The warm, mild, dry spicy aroma of Black Pepper Essential Oil will remind you of freshly ground peppercorns combined with a soft floral undertone. While somewhat strong when diffused by itself, Black Pepper Essential Oil can add warmth and spice up your favorite DIY diffuser blends. This essential oil blends well with oils such as Bergamot Essential Oil, Frankincense Essential Oil, and Rosemary Essential Oil. Black Pepper is an excellent choice to help in reducing muscle tension and the perception of pain after a hard workout. It also supports healthy digestion and joint health for aging joints that are prone to pain.

It blends well with bergamot, copaiba balsam, cypress, fennel sweet, frankincense serrata, geranium egyptian, juniper berry, lavender, rose absolute, rosemary, sandalwood australian, and vetiver.
